Chocolate Pie

1 pie 2 eggs pinch salt
1 cup sugar 1 small can pet milk (2/3 CUP-5 OZ
2T.flour 1/2 can water 1 t.vanilla
2T.cocoa


Mix sugar, flour,salt,cocoa. Separate eggs & beat yolks slightly add to milk,water
& vanilla. Mix wiyh dry ingredients & cook over medium heat, stirrring constantly.
When it is thick pour into a baked pie shell & use whites to make meringue.

*Note: Pet milk is evaporated milk, or "canned milk" as we always called it.
I bake the pie for 15 minutes at 350 degrees after adding the meringue.
