This is a very good fudge and it will get hard if you remember the two most important steps.
I lined the dish with buttered foil to cut the fudge outside of the dish and then put the fudge back into the dish.
Ingredients:
3 cups sugar
2/3 cup Cocoa
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 cup butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cups milk
large pan
Candy Thermometer
In a large pot mix sugar, cocoa salt and milk. Mixing well and using a heat proof spatula wiping the walls down good as you mix. As soon as the mixture begins to boil insert a candy thermometer and let sit until temperature reaches the soft ball stage. 238 degrees. Then remove from heat.
Add 1/4 cup butter and 1 tsp. vanilla. Beat well with a wooden spoon and pour into a buttered dish.
